Skylark Labs Expands Self-Learning Defense Robotics Across the U.S. and GCC; Leveraging Hexadyne’s Three Decades of Defense-Market Expertise
Skylark Labs, a U.S.-based artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics company building self-learning AI for physical systems, is proud to announce its strategic partnership with Hexadyne Corporation. This move marks a major expansion of Skylark Labs’ push to bring its defense robotics portfolio to the U.S. government and allied defense customers across the Pacific Rim and the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Bringing each expertise to the table
The new partnership gives Skylark Labs an established route to some of the world’s largest defense markets by combining its humanoids, autonomous ground and aerial systems, counter-UAS technologies, and self-learning AI, all supported by Hexadyne’s three decades of experience with U.S. and allied defense organizations.
Meanwhile, Hexadyne brings defense-market development, government and international customer relationships, export and ITAR compliance, procurement support, logistics, and in-country deployment capabilities. Its public-sector customers include the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and other international defense organizations.
The collaboration will combine Skylark Labs’ self-learning AI and robotics platforms with Hexadyne’s experience in bringing defense technologies into U.S. and allied programs. The companies will work together across several mission areas, including counter-UAS solutions, command-and-control systems, humanoid robots for battlefield operations, and autonomous aerial systems for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and strike missions.
“We have spent the last several years building the intelligence and robotics platforms. This partnership is about taking the next step—getting those systems into the hands of defense customers at scale,” Dr. Amarjot Singh, founder and CEO of Skylark Labs, shares.
“Hexadyne has decades of experience fostering relationships and deploying defense infrastructure across the U.S. and allied defense markets. Combining that reach with our defense robotics gives Skylark a much larger pathway to operational deployments.”
A route into U.S. and international defense programs
The Skylark Labs and Hexadyne partnership will initially prioritize opportunities with the U.S. government and defense users across the PACRIM and GCC markets, where Skylark Labs sees substantial opportunity for autonomous robotics and AI.
“We look at this partnership as a strategic initiative to be at the front end of major changes in the future of the battlespace,” adds Robert Sanchez, CEO of Hexadyne.
“Skylark is positioned for developing new and augmenting existing systems for not only today’s military but more specifically the military after the next military. There is no denying that AI is central to mission success today, but its evolving reach demands that we adapt our systems to support forces across the spectrum in adapting and creating multipliers that lead to force dominance. Together, Hexadyne and Skylark shall leverage existing relationships within the US and international marketplace to introduce these robot-based technologies.”
Skylark Labs has been known for its brain-inspired architecture, which enables systems to continuously self-evolve, autonomously learning from experience without human guidance. This adaptive capability allows systems to recognize and respond to novel situations based on conceptual understanding rather than pattern matching.
When combined with Skylark Labs’ collaborative framework, which enables knowledge sharing across distributed systems, this adaptive learning creates a multiplicative effect. Knowledge gained by one system propagates across the network, allowing the collective intelligence to evolve far more rapidly than any individual component.
The new partnership will strengthen the company’s name in the superintelligence landscape while bringing its expertise to the new markets.
