Shangri-La Asia posts 30.4% drop in full-year earnings to US$112.3 million

[SINGAPORE] Mainboard-listed hotel group Shangri-La Asia on Thursday (Mar 26) reported a net profit of US$112.3 million for the full year ended Dec 31, 2025, down 30.4 per cent from US$161.4 million in the year-ago period.

Correspondingly, earnings per share (EPS) fell to US$0.0316 a share, from US$0.0454 the year before.

This was mainly due to a one-off impairment loss of US$30.4 million from a hotel in the United Kingdom, and a 76.1 per cent decline in effective share of net-value gains on investment properties.

Full-year revenue rose 2.2 per cent to US$2.23 billion, from US$2.19 billion in FY2024.

The board has recommended a final dividend of HK$0.10 a share for FY2025, unchanged from the year before.

With an interim dividend of HK$0.05 a share paid out last October, this brings the total dividend for the full year to HK$0.15 a share.
