Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Trump Showed Lack of Compassion Following Death Threats Against Her Children: “Nail In The Coffin”

Former Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) again criticized President Donald Trump, the latest instance of their public break.

Speaking to Piers Morgan, Greene, who resigned from Congress earlier this year, shared the last time she had communicated with the president. She said that after Trump had begun calling her a “traitor” she and one of her children had begun receiving death threats.

Greene said she reached out to the administration, the FBI, and the president about the issue.

“He was very unkind about these death threats,” Greene said. “He basically blamed me. He had no compassion for death threats on my children.”

“It’s like a nail in the coffin,” Greene said. “It tells me exactly who Donald Trump is. Some of my biggest political enemies would never say that to me…I don’t know what kind of person basically has no compassion or care to someone’s child being threatened to be killed.”

Greene was once one of President Trump’s most fervent supporters but has become increasingly critical of the president over a number of issues, including the handling of the Epstein files.

She also has been critical of his decision to go to war in Iran. Recently, a social media post by Trump that some saw as religious in nature also garnered her criticism.

“On Orthodox Easter, President Trump attacked the Pope because the Pope is rightly against Trump’s war in Iran and then he posted this picture of himself as if he is replacing Jesus. This comes after last week’s post of his evil tirade on Easter and then threatening to kill an entire civilization. I completely denounce this and I’m praying against it!!!,” Greene wrote on X.

After a 60 Minutes interview in December in which Greene was critical of the president, Trump responded: “The only reason Marjorie “Traitor” Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!). Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD – She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple!”
