Cameron Diaz & Benicio Del Toro-Led Film ‘Reenactment’ Casts Eldar Isgandarov

EXCLUSIVE: Newcomer Eldar Isgandarov has joined the cast of Grant Singer’s new feature film, Reenactment, which is currently in pre-production. Isgandarov joins the previously announced cast, including Benicio del Toro, Cameron Diaz, and Ana de Armas.

Isgandarov’s role, like the plot, is being kept under wraps. Production is slated to begin later this year in Los Angeles.

The project reunites del Toro with Singer and Black Label following his 2023 directorial debut, Reptile, which debuted at Toronto and topped charts on Netflix. Black Label Media is also in development on The White Van, with Singer attached to direct

Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill of Black Label will produce Reenactment along with Patrick Wachsberger of Legendary company 193. Black Label’s Rachel Smith will executive-produce along with Bradley Thomas of Imperative, Ashley Stern of 193 and LBI’s Rick Yorn and Scott Greenberg.

Originally from Azerbaijan, raised in the Netherlands and Belgium, Isgandarov is a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. His work in Reenactment marks Isgandarov’s third feature film this year. He has starring roles in the as-yet-unreleased untitled musical comedy project from Jesse for A24 and Fruit Tree, as well as Jordan Firstman’s directorial debut Club Kid, produced by Topic Studios. He is repped by Elevate Entertainment and Bloch Law.
