Adam Scott Says He Hasn’t Drank Alcohol in 12 Years

Ultimately, the attempt backfired. As he put it, “For sure, by the end of the day, everyone thought it was cocaine.”

And when it came to solving his nosebleed issue, Scott ended up needing to get his nose cauterized. 

“I asked the doctor, I was like, ‘Is this—Is this going to hurt?’” he recalled. “And he’s like, ‘Well yes, but also the more challenging aspect of this will be the extreme feeling of pepper being shoved up your nose.’”

The Step Brothers alum continued, “So it did hurt, but then also it did feel like there was just like a pound of pepper. And he’s like, ‘Don’t sneeze. You can’t sneeze!’”

After Seth Meyers jokingly suggested that if doctors didn’t want patients to sneeze, perhaps make the sensation feel like something else up one’s nose, Scott quipped right back, “Like powdered sugar—or cocaine!”
