WWE talent gets surprising name change: Report
A member of the WWE roster has reportedly undergone a name change. It isn’t unusual for the top professional wrestling company to change the name of a talent. In the case of Anthony Luke, it was expected until he appeared during an “NXT” live event on Nov. 22 as Kam Hendrix.
In a new report from Bodyslam.net, it was noted that Luke will be using the name going forward. Whether or not the last name is a nod to Michael Hayes’ former gimmick as Dok Hendrix is unknown at this time.

Anthony Luke in WWE
Luke first appeared on the “WWE LFG” show as a competitor during the first two seasons. He even appeared on an episode of “NXT” alongside WWE Hall of Famer Undertaker back in April.
Luke is engaged to reigning WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri. The two announced their engagement back in late 2024.
In his most recent match during an “NXT” live event, Luke teamed with Lexis King and Brooks Jensen. They defeated Shiloh Hill, Dante Chen, and Drake Morreaux.
Luke has had some other untelevised matches in 2025. He was paired with Dupri to take on the team of Joe Hendry and Kendal Grey and the team of Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Arianna Grace in a mixed triple threat tag team match. Hendry and Grey ultimately emerged victorious.
Luke and Dupri managed to score two wins over “Stacks” and Grace at “NXT” live events. “Stacks” and Grace did manage to pick up one win against the fellow engaged couple.
