Teyana Taylor Confirms Leonardo DiCaprio Was “Laughing And Kiki-ing” About ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ During Animated Globes Convo
After Leonardo DiCaprio‘s animated performance in the crowd at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards went viral, his co-star is revealing what all the fuss was about.
The 3x Globe-winning actor’s One Battle After Another co-star Teyana Taylor said Leo “was talking to me” in the clip about KPop Demon Hunters, during an exchange as the animated Netflix film won Best Original Song — Motion Picture and Best Motion Picture — Animated.
“And the crazy part about it is, I’m so blacked out from that day, that I want to say we may have been talking about KPop Demon Hunters,” she told Access Hollywood. “Because I was so happy when they won, because my kids love KPop Demon Hunters. So, I was over there just jamming, and I think he just caught me jamming and we started talking about it.”
Taylor continued, “But I just don’t remember what he was saying, I don’t even think I really heard what he was saying. I was probably just laughing and kiki-ing back and had no clue back and had no clue what he’s saying.”
The first-time Globe winner admitted she “went right with the lip-reading lady” who determined they were talking about the hit animated film.
