With three losses, many believe that if Texas hadn’t opened the season against No. 2 Ohio State, it would have played a much easier opponent and had a 10-2 record. With that, a spot in the playoffs would probably look for Texas instead of currently sitting at 9-3 and missing out on a chance for a national championship.
