‘RHOP’ star Keiarna Stewart reveals what Stacey Rusch did to spark their conflict on ‘WWHL’ — and fans are not satisfied with her answer
Real Housewives of Potomac star Keiarna Stewart stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse for Sunday night’s (Dec. 14) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she dished on her friendship with Stacey Rusch.
Some of the women have been quick to hop on the Stacey hate train this season. After the situation with her ex-boyfriend T.J. Jones, the sudden reconciliation with her ex-husband, and a rumored fling with Monique Samuels’ ex-husband Chris Samuels, Rusch has been labeled as inauthentic by some of her castmates, namely Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, and Stewart.
When Stewart appeared on WWHL following Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, host Andy Cohen wondered if there was anything Rusch did directly to Stewart to spark their conflict.
“One of the things that people haven’t seen is when we were in Nevis, two times I’ve actually tried to resolve my issues with Stacey,” Stewart explained. “And Stacey looked me dead in the eyes and said, ‘I don’t want to be your friend, K.’”
“We’ve had the opportunity to work on our friendship and when we had the conversation, she chose to say, ‘I don’t want to be friends. I’m not interested in being friends with you,’” Stewart continued. “These are Stacey’s words. For me, if you’re not interested in being my friend, then what are you interested in being?”
Following Stewart’s response, the Rusch defenders rushed to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their frustrations.
“She still didn’t answer the question! That’s bc there was no problem! Andy shoulda called bullshit!!!” one wrote, while another added, “Girl what? You started with her way before Nevis when yall were at Gizelle’s house. Where tf did all that random animosity come from?? This girl is so full of it.”
A third chimed in, “She is not making sense. Clearly Stacey didn’t do anything to her,” while someone else said, “That didn’t answer the question. What has Stacey done to YOU?!”
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
