‘Redemption’: Jon Lemmon, Billy Zane, Jon Lovitz, Jaime King, Frank Stallone & Robert Davi Among Cast For Crime Pic
EXCLUSIVE: Production is underway on crime pic Redemption, with lead cast including Jon Lemmon (Heart Of Champions), grandson of Jack Lemmon, Billy Zane (Titanic), Jon Lovitz (A League Of Their Own), Jaime King (Sin City), Frank Stallone (Rocky), Weston Cage Coppola (Boneyard), Nicholas Petroccione (The Offer), and Robert Davi (Licence To Kill).
Supporting cast includes James Di Giacomo (The Kill Room), Joseph D’Onofrio (Goodfellas), Kelly Lynn Reiter (The Leader), Chris Mullinax (The Comeback Trail), Michael Sirow (Becky 2), Isaac C. Singleton (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl), Desiree Ruff (Godzilla Apex), Mickey Wagner (Boneyard), Alexander Man (Wrongful Death), NFL great Joe Thomas and newcomer Reagan Bentkowski.
Redemption “follows the journey of Leo Russo (Lemmon), a young man caught in the crosshairs of an organized crime syndicate in Cleveland and Las Vegas during the 1980s. When Leo and his best friend Jonathan (Petroccione) are drawn into the criminal underworld, both young men find themselves entangled in a dangerous game involving mobsters, killers, betrayal, and violence.”
The faith-based crime thriller is in production in Las Vegas, NV, and is due to be wrapped before year’s end. Writer-director is Asif Akbar. LA-based Avail Entertainment is handling world sales.
