Patrick Dempsey and Wife Jillian Share Rare Photo of Twins Darby and Sullivan

Patrick Dempsey is sharing a rare look at his family life.

The Grey’s Anatomy alum and wife Jillian Dempsey celebrated their kids Darby and Sullivan turning 19 with a sweet throwback photo of the duo sound asleep, describing them as “such sweet dream twinnies.”

“Happy birthday to our very creative & charming babies who turn 19 today,” Jillian captioned her and Patrick’s joint post on Instagram Feb. 1, tagging the two teens in the message. “We love you both so much!”

Over the years, Patrick—who is also dad to Talula, 23, with Jillian—has largely kept his kids out of the public eye, reasoning that they “want to have their own identity, separate from me and that shadow.”

“They all have unique qualities and they have their own goals that they need to develop and harvest themselves,” he told People in November 2023. “We try to model our behavior and hopefully they’ll pick up on that.”
