Twelve‑year‑old Kai Pollnitz from Georgetown received a life‑changing surprise when YouTube creator MrBeast gifted him a custom Open Bionics Hero PRO robotic hand. Kai, who was born with a congenital limb difference and had long dreamed of a prosthetic, spent months attending disguised appointments before the reveal. Now learning new skills with the device, Kai says he’s excited to show it off to friends and serve as an ambassador for the company.
