Kate Hudson and Elle Fanning Confirm Silver, Not Gold, Is the Metallic of 2026

The Golden Globes feels like a bit of a misnomer this year, actually, since we saw a lot more silver than gold on the red carpet ahead of the 2026 awards ceremony. Like, a lot more. And we’re not just talking about jewelry—although there was a lot of silver jewelry as well. Primarily, we’re talking about the shiny, sparkly, glittery metallic silver dresses worn on the red carpet by many of the night’s buzziest stars. Kylie Jenner, who attended the ceremony with Timothée Chalamet, didn’t even walk the red carpet, but she still got in on the silver red carpet trend.
