And while the couple—who shares kids Banks, 10, Mae, 4, and 20-month-old Townes, as well as her son Luca, 13, with ex Mike Comrie—didn’t confirm who inspired the track’s theme, Hilary has credited her husband for her decision to return to music. 

“Living with the person that I live with, who’s my husband, and just being 10 years removed from music and being 38 and just arriving kind of where I am in my life,” she explained on the Nov. 5 episode of Jake Shane‘s Therapuss podcast, “I just felt like I can finally fill in the blanks.”
