Dolphins Star Tyreek Hill Takes Shot at Mac McClung All-Star Dunk Contest

Dolphins Star Tyreek Hill Takes Shot at Mac McClung All-Star Dunk Contest

The entire sports world was taken by storm on Saturday night as the NBA All-Star events were taking place. The night was solid but what really got everyone out of their seats was the Slam Dunk Contest.

Mac McClung took home the crown as the winner for the third straight season, making NBA All-Star history. The guard dazzled all night and put together one of the best performances in the Dunk Contest.

However, not everyone in the sports world was impressed with his performance. Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill didn’t seem too thrilled with the dunks that took place and decided to take it to social media.

Hill took a shot at McClung over his first dunk, where the guard jumped over a car to perform a behind-the-head dunk.

“not impressed i seen Ethan Bonner do it”

For context, Bonner is a cornerback for the Dolphins and Hill is claiming that he has done this dunk before. It’s possible that Bonner could be a strong dunker but McClung is one of the best in the world and proved it yet again.

While Hill may have been hating on McClung and the contest as a whole, many people enjoyed it. Some went as far as to say that McClung has single-handedly saved the dunk contest.

Hill may have been trolling here as he has done previously on social media. But the performance of McClung even had some NBA stars thinking about competing soon.

Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant took to social media to tease his own appearance in the contest following McClung’s performance. Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo also dropped a hint about an appearance from him.
