The Critics Choice Association is unveiling some categories live on cable nets E! and USA Network starting at 9 a.m. PT, and the full list will hit about 9:10 a.m. PT. Deadline will post them all when they are released.

Continuing its combined film and TV awards format, The 3ist annual Critics Choice Awards will be handed out on Sunday, January 4, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. Running from from 7-10 p.m. ET/PT, the ceremony will air live on E! for a second year in a row and also will air live across USA Network.

Film awards season kicked into gear this week with the Gotham Awards on Monday, the New York Film Critics Circle Awards on Tuesday and the AFI Awards Top 10 list on Thursday. Paul Thomas Anderson’s Leoardo DiCaprio-led One Battle After Another won Best Film at the Gothams and CCAs and made AFI’s list, giving it early Oscar momentum. We also got the Spirit Awards nominations on Wednesday.
