Concord New Energy reports 82.6% decline in FY2025 earnings to 139.7 million yuan
[SINGAPORE] Concord New Energy on Thursday (Mar 26) posted its full-year earnings of 139.7 million yuan (S$25.9 million) for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 – an 82.6 per cent year-on-year drop from 805.1 million yuan.
Revenue for FY2025 stood at 2.5 billion yuan, down 7.6 per cent from 2.8 billion yuan in the year before.
Earnings per share slipped to 1.78 fen, from 10.06 fen in FY2024.
The company incurred a substantial income tax expense of 115.6 million yuan in 2025, a significant reversal from the 8.8 million yuan tax credit in 2024.
This was the first release of its results since its secondary listing on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) on Jan 6.
The board of directors recommended a final dividend of HK$0.003 for each ordinary share, for the year ended Dec 31, 2025, subject to the approval of shareholders of the company at the forthcoming annual general meeting.

The year before, the final dividend was HK$0.035 a share.
The group issued a profit guidance on Feb 20, in which it forecasted a more-than-80 per cent fall in profit for FY2025.
It cited a decline in revenue and gross margin from its power-generation business as a factor for the dip.
The counter ended Thursday 2.1 per cent or S$0.001 lower at S$0.047 on the Singapore Exchange.
