CAA’s Matt Martin, Trevor Astbury & Adam Schweitzer Heading To WME – The Dish

EXCLUSIVE: We hear that three big agents from CAA — Matt Martin, Trevor Astbury and Adam Schweitzer — are heading over to WME.

Schweitzer’s clients include Oppenheimer Oscar winner Cillian Murphy, 2x Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and Dune franchise actress Rebecca Ferguson.

Martin is a Motion Picture Lit agent working with clients such as John Francis Daley, Michael Waldron, Jonathan Goldstein, Dean Fleischer Camp, John Swab and Stella Meghie. Martin came up through CAA.

Astbury also works in motion picture lit with clients such as Len Wiseman and A Minecraft Movie producer Roy Lee.

This is par for the course: The holidays typically lead to agency jumping. Earlier today, Deadline reported that Olivia Blaustein joined Untitled as a lit manager after close to 15 years at CAA. Earlier this year Darian Lanzetta departed CAA for Mattel as a Senior Executive in Film.

That said, group defections from one major agency to another are rare and the last time several high-profile CAA agents left together was in 2020 when a faction departed to launch Range Media Partners.
