Brown shooter manhunt zeroes in on NH town where suspicious vehicle found — as cops probe possible tie to MIT nuclear prof’s murder
The frantic search for the suspect in Saturday’s shooting at Brown University is now centered on Salem, New Hampshire — where a suspicious vehicle was found, according to reports and sources.
Law enforcement officers swarmed a parked car in Salem late Thursday that appeared to be a similar make and model to a vehicle allegedly spotted near the murder of MIT professor Nuno Loureiro in Brookline, according to Boston 25 News.
Investigators have been probing a possible tie between the deadly school shooting and the slaying of Lourerio, a 47-year-old physicist and fusion scientist, two days later, sources told The Post.

Investigators have identified a suspect in the shooting that left two students dead and nine others wounded, but have not released the individual’s name to the public.
A warrant is also out for his arrest after a six-day manhunt, sources said.
