Austin prepares for Spring Festival Season

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The city of Austin is making plans ahead of Spring Festival Season.

City leaders are expected to discuss plans Monday and share information with Austinites and visitors ahead of this year’s festival season.

Austin Mayor Kirk Watson will be joined by leaders from Austin Center for Events, the Austin Police Department, the Transportation and Public Works Department and CapMetro to speak during a briefing at Butler Park in south Austin

According to the city, officials from other city departments and SXSW will also be in attendance to answer questions.
