Anonymous Content Signs Writer-Producer Courtenay Miles
EXCLUSIVE: Anonymous Content has signed writer/producer Courtenay Miles for representation.
Known for her work in prestige drama and true-crime storytelling, Miles recently co-wrote the Netflix psychological drama The Unforgivable, directed by Nora Fingscheidt and starring Sandra Bullock.
On the television side, she served as head writer and executive producer of Netflix’s acclaimed psychological crime thriller Mindhunter during its second season, earning a WGA Award nomination for her work. Miles came to work with David Fincher on that series after serving as his first assistant director on the acclaimed thriller Gone Girl, based on the novel by Gillian Flynn, which stars Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike and led to an Academy Award nomination for the latter. Her early-career first and second assistant director credits included Step Brothers, The Hangover, The Proposal, Grown Ups, Moneyball, and 2016’s Ghostbusters, among other titles.
Miles’ upcoming slate includes Evil Genius, a crime thriller she wrote and exec produced, which is based on the true-crime documentary series of the same name. Directed by Courteney Cox and starring Patricia Arquette and David Harbour, the film centers on the infamous “Pizza Bomber” case involving Brian Wells.
Also currently penning an espionage thriller for Artists Equity, Miles continues to be represented by Jonathan Shikora at Lichter, Grossman, Nichols.
