Baeksang Arts Awards 2026 Live Stream: When and Where to Watch 62nd Annual Ceremony from Anywhere


Baeksang Arts Awards 2026, organized by HLL JoongAng, will be broadcast live from the COEX Hall D in Seoul on Friday (May 8). The star-studded ceremony will begin with red carpet arrivals at 5:50 pm KST, followed by the main award show at 7:50 pm KST. It will be telecast live through JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.

Sponsored by Gucci, this year’s award show will introduce a new expansion. Apart from recognising excellence in theatre, television, and film, the event will establish a musical division. The new edition is created in association with the Korea Musical Theatre Association to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Korean musical theatre.

When and Where to Watch Baeksang Arts Awards 2026?

The live stream of the 62nd annual award ceremony, taking place at COEX Hall D in Seoul on Friday (May 8), will be available in some regions through Chzzk Naver Entertainment Channel. People from the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, Mexico, Denmark, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Greenland, Hong Kong, China, Japan, New Zealand, UAE, Singapore, Turkey, and South Africa could watch the glam event live online on the PRIZM app.

Who is Hosting?

Park Bo Gum, Bae Suzy, and Shin Dong Yup will host the annual award show once again. The trio has been sharing the stage together since 2022. Bo Gum debuted as a host of this glam event in 2018 and has been part of the event since then. He couldn’t be part of this ceremony in 2021 due to mandatory military enlistment.

Suzy has been hosting the award show since 2016. She is returning as an MC for the 11th consecutive year. Similarly, television personality Dong Yup has been part of the show for over a decade. He won the Best Male Entertainer in the TV/Drama category last year. Dong Yup will present an award for the same category this year.

What to Expect?

The theme for the Baeksang Arts Awards 2026 is The Stage, symbolising the theatre, films, television screens, and musical productions. According to the organizers, the event aims to expand boundaries and genres.

Who is Nominated?

The award show organizers released the nomination list last month. Projects released between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, across theatres, films, musical productions, web platforms, cable, OTT platforms, and general programming channels were eligible for nominations. The nominees for this year include Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, Can This Love Be Translated?, and The Judge Returns.
