Keppel Infrastructure Trust appoints Khor Poh Hwa as new chairman
[SINGAPORE] Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management, the trustee-manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust (KIT) , announced on Tuesday (Apr 7) that it has appointed Khor Poh Hwa as the new chairman of the board.
Khor, 76, will succeed Daniel Ee, 73, who will be retiring after the conclusion of KIT’s annual general meeting on Apr 29, 2026. This transition is part of the board’s ongoing renewal process.
Khor previously served as the trustee-manager’s first chairman from 2010 to 2015. He is currently an independent director and a member of both the investment committee and the nominating and remuneration committee.
Khor’s career includes 23 years at the Public Works Department (PWD) in Singapore, where he held engineering roles in transportation, building and airport development. He was the first chief executive officer of PWD until 2003 and served as a senior adviser until 2008.
Between 1995 and 1997, he was seconded to the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park as deputy CEO of the Suzhou Industrial Park Development Co, focusing on infrastructure.
He has also held board positions at various Keppel entities and served as an adviser for township and infrastructure development.

Khor holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the then University of Singapore and a Master of Science (Civil Engineering) from the National University of Singapore.
Outgoing chairman Ee said: “I am confident that under Poh Hwa’s leadership and with his deep experience in infrastructure projects, KIT will continue to deliver sustainable growth and value to unitholders.”
Ee has served as an independent director since 2015 and took the helm as chairman in 2021.
Khor said that under Ee’s leadership, “KIT advanced its value creation and asset recycling strategies to deliver sustainable returns to unitholders”. “Since the combination of Keppel Infrastructure Trust and CitySpring Infrastructure Trust in 2015, KIT has delivered a total unitholder return of 96 per cent.”
Units of Keppel Infrastructure Trust ended at S$0.52 on Monday, S$0.005 or 1 per cent higher.
