Nio deliveries rise 136% in March; Q1 volume nearly doubles
[SINGAPORE] Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker Nio reported a 136 per cent year-on-year (yoy) increase in March vehicle deliveries, with the number of units shipped in the first quarter nearly doubling from the year before.
The company delivered 35,486 vehicles across its brands in March 2026, comprising 22,490 vehicles from Nio, 6,877 vehicles from Onvo, and 6,119 vehicles from Firefly.
The 83,465 vehicles delivered in Q1 represent a 98.3 per cent yoy rise, Nio said on Wednesday (Apr 1).
Cumulative deliveries reached 1,081,057 units as at Mar 31.
Nio’s flagship sport utility vehicle, the ES8, hit 80,000 deliveries in just half a year in March, said the EV maker.
Nio in March posted a net profit of 122.4 million yuan (S$22.5 million) in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2025. This marked a significant turnaround from the net loss of 7.1 billion yuan in the year-ago period, and the 3.7 billion yuan net loss recorded in Q3.
In Singapore, shares of Nio rose 9.4 per cent to close US$0.52 higher at US$6.06 on Wednesday, before the news.
