Fullerton Fund Management, 65 Equity Partners to manage second Anchor Fund tranche

This follows the first launch of S$1.5 billion in 2022 to attract high-quality listings to Singapore

[SINGAPORE] A statement from the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and Temasek on Friday (Mar 27) said Fullerton Fund Management and 65 Equity Partners have been appointed as fund managers for the second Anchor Fund tranche of S$1.5 billion.

In particular, Fullerton Fund Management will draw on its public-market experience and investor-mobilisation capabilities to participate in the public listings of leading growth enterprises as a cornerstone investor.

As for 65 Equity Partners, it will work closely with promising late-stage private companies, deploying growth capital and strategic expertise to help them scale and prepare for eventual public listings.

The purpose of Anchor Fund 2 is to strengthen Singapore’s equities ecosystem by investing in leading growth enterprises ready to list and raise capital in Singapore’s public markets.

It is to also provide growth capital to promising companies heading towards eventual public listings in Singapore.

In 2022, the Singapore government co-invested with Temasek to launch the first S$1.5 billion tranche of the Anchor Fund, aiming to attract and anchor high-quality listings in Singapore.
