‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff ‘Marshals’ Kills Off Major Character in Premiere Episode
The Duttons are taking over Texas.
Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprise their roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, respectively, in the first teaser for Taylor Sheridan‘s latest Yellowstone spinoff Dutton Ranch.
Set after the events taken place in the original Paramount Network series, the new story follows Beth and Rip as they try to escape the ghosts of their past with a new life in the Lone Star state. But as the first look teases, the duo are about to face off with some deadly new rivals.
The preview—released March 23—shows Rip discovering a dead body on their new ranch before fist fights and gun showdowns erupt amid ensuing drama. But the rowdiness is nothing new for the rough-and-tumble twosome.
When Beth quips in the video, “What a day,” Rip replies, “Welcome to Texas.”
The teaser also introduces new castmembers Annette Bening and Ed Harris to the Yellowstone universe. Bening portrays Beulah Jackson while Harris takes on the role of Everett McKinney.
