Arsenal & England Star Eberechi Eze Launches Production Biz Flowstate With Fremantle
England and Arsenal soccer star Eberechi Eze is getting in on the production act.
The former QPR and Crystal Palace attacker will look to apply his on-field creativity at Flowstate, a creative agency he has founded, with Fremantle‘s UK arm onboard.
Flowstate will look to develop a diverse slate of brand-funded campaigns and scripted and unscripted content, with Fremantle handling global distribution.
The Eze Foundation, which Eze runs alongside his soccer career, works with British schools to provide mentoring, internships and creative opportunities, and it’s expected Flowstate will extend that work into productions through behind-the-camera and hands-on roles.
Eze is one of the Premier League‘s top attacking talents, currently plying his trade at league-leading Arsenal. Today’s news comes after Eze gave a match-winning performance in Arsenal’s 4-0 win in the FA Cup fourth round against Wigan, providing two assists.
He has 16 England caps and is expected to be part of the country’s World Cup squad this summer at in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Eze scored the winning goal for Crystal Palace in the final of last season’s FA Cup before transferring to Arsenal. He first made his name at Championship club QPR, the West London team known as The Hoops.
“Flowstate is about pushing creative boundaries and telling stories that inspire,” said Eze. “Partnering with Fremantle UK allows us to realise that vision at scale – developing content that captures ambition and creativity.
“Whether in sport, music, fashion or wider culture, I want to create stories that connects with audiences everywhere. That ambition aligns with the work of The Eze Foundation, which supports young people through mentoring and creative development, and through Flowstate and Fremantle, I hope we can offer many meaningful experiences across our productions.”
Amelia Brown, CEO of Fremantle UK, added: “Ebere and the team at Flowstate represent a bold new voice in creativity and entrepreneurship. This partnership reflects Fremantle UK’s ambition to collaborate with exceptional talent in new and exciting ways – bringing together storytelling, originality and creative innovation to deliver stand out content. We’re incredibly excited about what’s to come.”
