Romance Waves Were the Biggest Spring Hair Trend on the 2026 Grammys Red Carpet

Curls are coming undone on the Grammys red carpet—in a good way. Loose, romantic waves dominated Grammys hair trends this year, and this celebrity-loved style is so easy to copy. Consider this your sign to dust off your curling iron and treat yourself to a new texture spray.

While awards season kicked off with some high-level hair trends (see: the parade of expertly sculpted Old Hollywood bobs at the Golden Globes), music’s biggest night ushered in a softer wave for spring. Some of our favorite stars took a page from Margot Robbie’s Wuthering Heights look book, embracing cascading length, natural-looking texture, and even crimped effects.

Sabrina Carpenter’s loosely pinned updo (which left her curtain bangs and face-framing layers undone, in true Bridgerton style) was pure romance. The singer also took a softer approach with her glam, trading her usual babydoll blush and statement eye makeup for cloud lips, frosted highlighter, and natural-looking lashes.
