Talent Manager Andrew Lee Launches New Firm Combo Breaker
EXCLUSIVE: Talent Manager Andrew Lee has departed 3 Arts Entertainment to launch management and production company Combo Breaker.
Lee tells Deadline that the company “will focus on the intersection of the traditional and the new entertainment landscape, making bold choices on new ideas, whether in film, streaming, experiential, or digital.”
The rep added, “3 Arts Entertainment is a global powerhouse, and I am very thankful for my time there. I truly wish all my colleagues, their clients, and leadership all the best with their endeavors.”
Long-time clients joining Lee at his new company include Christian Vunipola (Masters of the Universe), Brittney Johnson (Wicked), Adam Budron (Elsbeth), Nikita Bogolyubov (Zero Day), Earl Baylon (Arcane) and musician and actor AJ Rafael (Marvel’s Wonder Man), alongside comedy creators Jesus Garcia (Lionsgate’s Good Fortune), Desmond English, Carlos Flores, gamer Nicholas Maldonado, lifestyle creator Roberto Ferrel, and more.
Lee joined 3 Arts in 2017 as an assistant to talent manager Sarah Shyn Ayala, where he supported the careers of talent including Jamie Chung (Lovecraft Country), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts), and Aimee Carrero (Your Friends & Neighbors). During his subsequent time there as a manager, he also repped talents including Rocsi Diaz (Good Morning America), Stephanie Shepherd (Opus), Maxwell Simkins (Shifting Gears) and comedian Ralph Barbosa (Planet Bosa), to name a few.
Lee began his career at The Van Johnson Company as an assistant to Van Johnson, supporting talent such as Cas Anvar (The Expanse) and Chin Han (Mortal Kombat).
