Kelsey Grammer Shares How Baby No. 8 Changed Him as a Dad

Kelsey Grammer doesn’t know what to do with tossed salads, scrambled eggs and easy babies. 

Two months after the Frasier star confirmed he and wife Kayte Walsh welcomed their fourth baby, Christopher, together, he admitted their little one has surprised him. 

“It’s kind of amazing,” Kelsey told E! News’ Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview. “He’s a really easy kid, but my wife Kayte has been exemplary. The first couple kids we were still sort of improving a little bit, but we were good at it.”

However, the 70-year-old, also dad to Faith, 13, Gabriel, 11 and James, 8, with Kayte, admitted that they don’t have to stress much about their youngest son. 

“He’s sleeping through the night,” he explained. “He is her little charge right now and he’s a wonderful kid. He was smiling at me this morning and we were having a little chat.”

As he put it, “It’s great to have this new life in our life.”

For Kelsey—who also shares Spencer, 42, with ex-wife Doreen Alderman; Greer, 33, with ex Barrie Buckner as well as Mason, 24, and Jude, 21, with ex Camille Grammer—it feels like a second shot at getting fatherhood right.
