Prime Video’s Nicole Wallace Series ‘Postcards From Italy’ Adds Seven; Shooting Wraps
Nicole Wallace series Postcards From Italy has unveiled seven more cast members.
Sebastiano Pigazzi, Filippo De Carli, Maria Vera Ratti, Niccolò Senni, Vincent Riotta, Paola Minaccioni, and Martina Gatti have joined the Culpables trilogy star Wilson in the show, which recently wrapped production in Sicily.
Wallace will star as Mia, a young and spoiled New York heiress who is sent to Palermo, Italy, by her grandfather where she will live without family money and luxuries, and work a real estate agent in the family business.
Lisa Riccardi and Damiano Bruè created the show, with Jessica Yu (Quiz Lady, Only Murders in the Building). Amazon MGM Studios co-produces with Gaumont Italia. The English-language series, shot in Italy, will launch globally.
Prime Video unveiled the series in October, while at the same time striking a talent pact with Wallace, who has become a huge star for the streamer thanks to the success of the Culpables movies, which are the biggest international originals on the service.
“This talent deal represents our excitement about Nicole’s global potential and reinforces our commitment to nurturing emerging international talent who can help tell compelling stories for our global audience,” said Nicole Clemens, VP and Head of International Originals, Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, upon unveiling the pact last month.
The final Culpables film, Culpa Nuestra, which are based on Mercedes Ron’s novels, dropped on Prime Video on October 16.
Wallace is also starring in The House of Spirits, a Spanish-language Prime Video series out of Chile based on Isabelle Allende that has Eva Longoria among its executive producers.
