Why Dancing With the Stars’ Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov Get a 10 for Their Love Story

You could say they’ve been in sync since day one.

As Daniella recalled to Dance Sport Info, she was 15 when she and then-22-year-old Pasha started dancing together on Dec. 7, 2008, after being introduced by their respective coaches.

The Brooklyn native turned 16 on Dec. 26, and “on Jan. 1, we started dating,” she said. “It is funny, because my mom, just before the try-out, was asking, ‘What if you start liking him? What if you start having feelings for him?’ And I was like, ‘No way, he is so old! It’s never going to happen!'”

Pasha popped the question exactly four years later, on Jan. 1, 2013, and they tied the knot July 18, 2014, in front of family and friends in New Jersey.
