Bachelor’s Hannah Ann Sluss and NFL Player Jake Funk Welcome First Baby

UPDATE: Hannah Ann Sluss and Jake Funk are officially parents.

The Bachelor alum welcomed her first baby with the NFL free agent five months after announcing they were set to expand their family.

In a post on her Instagram Stories Nov. 24, the new mom shared the happy news with a photo of their dog Dash sporting a beige “Big Brother” bib.

“We’ve spent the last few days at home soaking in newborn heaven,” she wrote alongside the pic. “I’ll share more soon.”

Hannah Ann Sluss and Jake Funk will soon have a new rose in their life.

Indeed, the Bachelor alum shared that she and the NFL star—who tied the knot last June—are expecting their first baby together.

“We found out we were expecting during a trip to Dubai,” Hannah Ann told People in an interview published June 22. “It was such an unexpected and joyful surprise! A moment we’ll always treasure.”

And while the 29-year-old emphasized that she has been “feeling great” during her second trimester, her pregnancy wasn’t always the most enjoyable experience.

“The first trimester was all about rest and sticking to the basics,” she explained. “I had a lot of food aversions, and almost everything tasted off except fruit—which I’ve always loved.”

As for what the couple plans to name their new addition? Well, they’ve started brainstorming but haven’t quite decided yet.

“We’ve started talking names and love the idea of choosing one that’s meaningful and tied to family in some way,” the reality star shared. “Becoming parents is the greatest gift, and we’re just in awe of God’s goodness in this season.”
