Rob Lowe Reveals the One Habit His Son John Owen Won’t Let Him Live Down

Rob Lowe isn’t an outsider with his kids.

In fact, it’s The Outsiders actor’s bond with his and wife Sheryl Berkoff’s sons Matthew Edward, 32, and John Owen, 30, that keeps him up on all the latest trends—even if it makes him the perfect target for their youngest.

“My son John Owen has made a cottage industry of roasting me online,” Lowe told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes in an exclusive interview. “I’m afraid to post anything. He’s gonna just drag me over the coals.”

And most recently, the 62-year-old admitted, John Owen’s “out of love” quips occurred due to his scrolling habits.

“He roasts me because I enjoy TikTok,” he continued. “I guess it’s like an old person talking about Facebook. He’s definitely on me, ‘Hey, dad, are you on are you on TikTok right now?’”

Still, the St. Elmo’s Fire star has no shame in his scrolling through clips of sports, dogs and ancient alien content.
